Why has my tracking not updated?

How can I upgrade my shipping option?

We are unable to upgrade shipping options on an order once it has been placed. We can cancel orders upon request, and the order can be placed again with an upgraded shipping option.

Does Outsider cover taxes and duties on international orders?

Your country may require you to pay import fees, customs, duties, and value-added taxes (VAT), etc., which are not included in the shipping cost listed on our website. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. Please be aware that you may need to work with your local post office to pay customs and duties before they release your shipment to you. If you fail to pay applicable duties, taxes, and fees, the package will be abandoned, and Outsider will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees. Please note that orders outside the USA and Canada are ineligible for returns or exchanges.

Returns are permitted from items purchased from OutsiderLife.com within 30 days of receiving your product. You will be required to pay the cost of return shipping to our warehouse. The product must be returned in the original packaging, including any parts, accessories, or manuals to receive a full refund.

What is Outsider's warranty?

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Outsider submits all of its outdoor hard goods to strict standards of engineering and testing to ensure long-lasting durability in even the most challenging outdoor conditions. Our company proudly stands behind the high quality of our products and our service to you. This allows us to warrant all of our products against defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the product. The life of the product can vary based on its age and how you have used it. Please keep original sales receipt for all Outsider product purchases. We require proof of purchase from an authorized seller to qualify for warranty service, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

If an Outsider product covered by this warranty qualifies as a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. If the identical product is not available, the most comparable product may be substituted or credit towards a different Outsider product may be offered. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, weather-related damages (wind, rain, fire, animals, etc.), normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. This warranty does not cover consequential damages or any other losses arising from any defect of the product. This warranty does not apply to any Outsider products or component parts which have been lost or stolen; or subject to commercial use, corrosion, misuse, neglect, intentional damage, carelessness, accident; unauthorized or improper disassembly, adjustments, modifications, or repairs made or attempted by anyone other than a qualified Outsider employee authorized procedures; or as a result of failure to follow the product's operating and care instructions.

Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for shipping.

Additionally, certain products have components that will experience high wear and will eventually degrade over time. While we design everything with the intention of lasting a lifetime, certain parts are expected to need a tune-up or replacement during their lifecycle. We are happy to offer a wide assortment of these high wear parts HERE, allowing you to self-service and get your gear back outside with minimal downtime. These items are not covered under warranty as they are expected to need replacement in line with their rate of wear from regular use. Please be sure to review the user manual for each product before use and reach out to our Customer Support Team at any time if you have questions on setup, care, or maintenance.

WARRANTY OR REPAIR CLAIMS

For all product claims please complete our Product Service Request Form. Once our After Service Department receives this information, they will create a Claim Authorization (CA) number for you and share next steps.

If the domestic claim is subject to warranty, Outsider will be responsible for transportation and repair costs. For all other domestic repair claims, the customer will be responsible for shipping fees to our warehouse or repair partner.

At this time international customers are responsible for all shipping fees, customs, duties, and value added taxes for both warranty and repair claims.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES FOR THE COVERED PRODUCTS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. KLYMIT’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL RETAIL AMOUNT PAID BY THE OWNER OF THE DEFECTIVE COVERED PRODUCT OR COMPONENT PART. OUTSIDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WITH RESPECT TO ECONOMIC LOSS, INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHETHER AS A RESULT OF BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

This warranty is between Outsider and the original purchaser and is valid only when accompanied by the original purchaser’s sales receipt showing original date of purchase and location of purchase. Replacements under this warranty revert back to the date of original purchase for future warranty.

Outsider or its authorized dealer can accept or reject warranty claims based on its findings. This warranty applies in normal residential use only and is not intended for commercial use. Outsider can make substitutions as required of materials, components, and sub-components of comparable value and utility. This warranty is limited to product repair or replacement (to be determined solely by Outsider). Warranty return is limited to only the single affected component.

Certain items are not covered by this warranty. These include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Components subjected to abuse, including abuse intended to simulate failure.
  2. Damages caused by retailer, shipper or installation crew (such as scratches, dents, tears, chips, etc.).
  3. Any part which merely exhibits normal wear yet functions essentially as new, including chips, scratches or stretching of materials and stitching.
  4. Tears, punctures, scratches or any damage caused by improper installation or use.
  5. Damage to frames/welds resulting from improper assembly or exposure to water and/or sub-freezing temperatures is not covered. General frame rusting is not covered.
  6. Fading and/or discoloration of fabrics/cushions/straps resulting from exposure to the elements, chemicals, oils, fluids or any other cause are not covered.
  7. Items sold "as is" or floor models.
